Kingston, NY

This Community driven project started in 2019 and went through many phases and design changes before settling on this current version. With 3 different properties joined together, installations spanned from early 2022 through January of 2024. The park area was originally designed to be a music and community venue but in early 2023, the establishments committee of directors decided they wanted to bring more accessible greenspace into the neighborhood, requiring the demolition of an existing building. This design includes a public bathroom, community bulletin board, picnic and chess tables, a drinking fountain, urban lighting, shade sails, large scale shade trees and tough yet beautiful native plantings. I functioned as the landscape architect and project manager, overseeing all aspects of the construction. My role also included working closely with the local community and a committee of directions in order to create a space that would meet the needs of the neighborhood.
