With over 20 years experience as a Landscape Designer, my focus has been on ecological restoration and resilience, with an intention to foster healing between the humans I work with and the land they inhabit.

I am well versed in both commercial and residential projects with an expertise in designing and implementing patterns of use in both hard and softscapes. My passion lies in creating extensive, meadow style plantings, as well as stone paths, patios and boulder walls made of local materials. 

I often describe my style as modern-native. I enjoy the way the angles of architecture can play into a setting that stylistically mimics mother nature. I tend to weigh heavily on native features but use bold strokes of colors and textures in my work, including impactful accents of non-native perennials and shrubs. The spaces I design are meant to evoke a connection with nature, and hopefully, in the experience of that place, a tether to one's interconnectedness with the natural world.

I received a formal education at the NYBG school of horticulture. My more extensive designs are typically illustrated in an Auto CAD program.
