Over a 3 year span, this newly built house and pool were transformed from an exposed building with almost no growth into a private estate. The process involved planting over 200 mature trees and shrubs, creating paths through the woods, bridges and large stepping stone boulders through the wetlands and ponds, seeding acres of native lawn and meadows, building a fire pit and patio with custom made semi-circle cedar benches and planting extensive Piet Oudolf style gardens around the house and pool.

Once the project was completed, the clients asked me to create an art piece to illustrate the work that I had done on the property. The mixed media project included color Auto-CAD designs of existing elements as a base, overlaid with vellum that I illustrated with colored pencils, pen and ink to show the project's scope.
